Please say hello to "Franz", the exclusive 2004 Steiff Club Teddy bear. This bear is named after one of Magarete Steiff's nephews, Franz Steiff, who invented the "Button in Ear" trademark a century ago in 1904.

Franz is 12" tall, made of soft light brown mohair, and proudly wears the 2004 Steiff Club medallion. This very special Steiff Club bear comes with a wood and brass seal stamper featuring the original steiff elephant tradmark.

The year 2004 marks the 100th anniversary of the original Steiff "Button in Ear" trademark, the elephant. Steiff is proud to offer it's Steiff Club members this delightful "Felt elephant on wheels" in tribute to this important occasion. Standing at 4.5" tall and 8" wide and made of grey wool felt, this Steiff Club exclusive would be a wonderful addition to your Steiff collection.

In addition, Steiff is excited to offer it's club members the 2004 "Egg Cosy Set". This exclusive set is the third in the Steiff Club series of traditional egg cosies. This 4.5" set is composed of a light brown mohair bear and a grey elephant.
